The fifth edition of the Mauritius Tour Beachcomber (MTB) will be held from April 30 to May 2, 2020 and is a must for mountain bike enthusiasts. It will once again take mountain bikers inland in the heart of a vast playground combining challenges, discovery and breathtaking scenery. A new 5-star adventure on unique trails to celebrate the green effort in the heart of bewitching tropical nature.
Mauritius is not only a quality seaside destination. This 1865 km² territory that culminates at only 828 meters contains landscapes with varied topographies and panoramas. They have made the happiness of the trail; they can also do that of the mountain bike. After having won the incredible wager to create the Beachcomber Trail (UTRB) in 2014, the Beachcomber Group launched the Mauritius Tour Beachcomber (MTB). It offers mountain bikers the opportunity to give free rein to their thirst for achievement and adventure.
It is an opportunity to experience the vibrations of the island while crossing a wild and varied terrain; from mountains, forests, cane and tea fields to beaches and cliff tops. The Beachcomber Group is thus extending its offer of sports and ecotourism events, after the three editions of the Ultra Trail Raidlight Beachcomber (UTRB), which attracted the best of the world and regional trail in 2014, 2015 and 2016.
This fifth edition will be just as spectacular as the previous ones. Just as rich in challenge and adventure. It will be eminently southern and will take place between the south-west and south-east in the heart of the tropical forest, tea and sugar cane fields and cliffs overlooking the Indian Ocean. In any case, it confirms the unsuspected innate potential of a postcard Mauritius and its ability to combine physical effort and the quest for authenticity in secret nooks and crannies. Sport in the heart of nature can also be enjoyed on two wheels.
