The beaches of the Mauritius' west coast

With its 330 kilometres of coastline, mostly surrounded by coral reefs, Mauritius boasts of having some of the most beautiful beaches in the world. Turquoise-blue lagoons skirt the pristine white sandy beaches, sometimes attired with the elegant silhouettes of coconut trees or casuarinas (filaos).

La Preneuse Beach

Flic-en-Flac is a popular tourist village located to the south of Port-Louis. It is an ideal place to have fun; there are many restaurants, bars, casinos and nightclubs. Flic en Flac beach, one and a half kilometres long, is a famous diving spot given its outstanding seabed.

Tamarin Beach

Le Morne Beach

Located on the south-west tip of Mauritius, Le Morne beach offers a sumptuous natural setting: turquoise waters and white sand at the foot of Le Morne Brabant Mountain. Popular with board sports enthusiasts, it is ideal for surfing, windsurfing and kite-surfing due to its ideal wind conditions.
